Description
Autumn sky reflects in collected pools after days of downpour in sculpted slick rock pockets combining sky and sandstone in surreal reflections in the Coyote Buttes of the Vermillion Cliffs Wilderness.  No other slickrock feature I have seen posses the astonishing concentration of vividly banded sandstone so gently sculpted as the place many call 'The Wave'.  It is as though nature paused and graced this small area with more surreal aesthetic beauty than any other in my experience.  This remarkable place nearly straddles the Utah/Arizona boarder with no obvious trail to follow over slickrock and sand dunes.

The archival print uses 100% cotton-fiber, acid-free, smooth fine art paper, matted using archival materials and framed in solid natural, cherry or white maple with UV protective Glass or Plex for heirloom quality and generations of enjoyment.
