The sky holds more than stars, sun, and weather. Looking up
gives a view full of fascination and variety of forces. Clouds represent
particular compelling subject with the ever changing qualities of form, color,
scale, and evidence of power.
Sunsets, sunrises, approaching storms, breaking
storms, wispy cirrus or majestic cumulus, all move and modify with amazing speed
and surprise of form. The selected images in this suite reflect the essence of
seasonal variations and the daily travails passing clouds bring. I have tried to
capture some of the elegant beauty and variation of these cloudscapes as they
appeared and graced the day in the wild places where they were born.
