Wyoming bridges between the Great Plains to the Rocky Mountains with
Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park
anchoring mountainous splendor of utterly unique
potential for photographers. Inspiring mountains and expansive
forests, glacier fed mountain lakes and cascading streams, waterfalls,
and rolling rivers offer wondrous and beautiful locations for
photography of multiple genre. The Western region of
Wyoming also offers abundant wildlife and opportunities to
observe and photograph great and small animals in natural
settings. Of course, Autumn here offers a particularly
spectacular photographic opportunity with
such locations as golden grassy meadows, Aspen trees mingled
with deeply textured evergreens, or along the rivers with a
ribbon of golden glory. Winter in this rugged land deepens
with nearly arctic intensity and challenging photographers with
temperature extremes to test both body and camera technology. Any of
these and a myriad other Wyoming settings combined with seasonal
change offer great
opportunities to explore photographically with the potential for
spectacular results.
