Glacier
National Park
Saint Mary Fall in Glacier National Park, Montana creates a beautiful
curtain of water as it cascades in multiple levels. This
incredibly picturesque region gives rise to hundreds of waterfalls
which drain dozens of glaciers among the rugged mountain peaks.
Glacier National Park has dozens of climatic and ecological niches
from the western temperate rain forest on the western side of the
continental divide which bisects the park to the northern Rock
Mountain conifer forest on the east. In the heart of this unique
mountain region, Triple Divide Peak marks the place on the Continental
Divide where the Hudson Bay Divide interests. From here water
flows either north, east or west ultimately to flow into the Artic
Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean or the Pacific. Saint Mary Fall is
featured in one of my Fine Art Posters which you can
see by clicking
Here.
Many well maintained trails provide access to the waterfalls of
Glacier and the many lakes, glaciers, and other spectacular features.
